Hello! My name is Becky Winard and I'm a senior studying geography and environmental studies. This last year I was the Vice President of Tzedek on the Oregon Hillel student board and president of the Eugene chapter of Challah for Hunger. I'm very excited to be the 2011 Oregon Hillel student board president and to provide programming and events for Jewish students at the University of Oregon and the Jewish community of Eugene. I have been a member of the Oregon Marching Band for three years and am part of the 2011 University of Oregon Environmental Leadership Program. Hi, my name is Kinneret Rogers I’m currently a senior at the University of Oregon majoring in History, and was born n’ raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Two years ago, I was very fortunate to spend my sophomore year abroad in Israel, studying at the Rothberg International School in Jerusalem.  My year abroad afforded me a once in a lifetime opportunity that allowed me to call Israel a home away from home.  Since returning, I have gained a newfound appreciation for my Jewish upbringing and now realize how crucial enriching a Jewish education is at any stage in life.  I am so excited to be on Hillel Student Board for the 2011-2012 school year, if you have any questions feel free to contact me at Kinneret@uoreogn.edu.

Hey, my name is Rachel Heidling and I'm a junior! I'm from Tualatin, Oregon and I am majoring in Human Physiology. In my spare time I like to stay active by hiking, snowboarding, going to the beach or playing soccer! Judaism has always been an important part of my life, and I've gained a Jewish identity through Shabbat school as a  kid, summer camps, and by traveling to Israel. Shalom!  My name is Colby Winfield and I am sophmore looking at majoring in journalism with a minor in  Judaic studies.  I’ve traveled to Israel twice with very different experiences.  Most recently I studied last Summer on a yeshiva in Jerusalem for a month and gained a tremendous amount of experience from my time learning Talmud.  I plan on returning my Junior year to study abroad for an extended period of time.  Please feel free to contact me at: winfield@uoregon.edu.  Looking forward to a wonderful year at Oregon Hillel!

Hi, My name is Hallie Rosner and I am a sophmore from Bainbridge Island, Washington. I love to dance, play games and just hang out with friends. I am so excited to be here at University of Oregon and to be a part of such a great Jewish community. I have strengthened my Jewish identity through attending Sunday school when I was little and teaching first and second grade when I was in high school. I also attended Jewish summer camps and went on a program to Israel two summers ago. I am also planning on attending another Israel program this summer.
