We are excited to announce to you all everything that we have planned for the High Holy Days - goodbye 5780 and hello 5781!
Here's a brief but important message from Rabbi Meir pertaining to our unique times:
The rabbis structured Judaism with the following in mind: when we are living through exigent times, Jewish wisdom and practice (halacha) makes every attempt to help us to flourish. Therefore, they permit practices that are less than optimal for those who maintain traditional practices, such as having to use Zoom on Yontiff to participate in High Holy Day services. For more on this, we recommend this article!
Please join Oregon Hillel and Hillel International for the Higher Holy Days. The Hillel Higher Holidays team is excited to offer rich streaming services for campuses to utilize this High Holy Day season.
