Every Jewish student is a member of Hillel from the moment you step on campus. There are no dues or fees required to "join" Hillel. This is your Jewish community and this is your Hillel!

Taglit: Birthright Israel is a FREE 10 day trip to Israel and it is an experience of a lifetime! Oregon Hillel offers two trips a year (over winter and summer breaks respectively). Get more information about our Birthright programs through Israel Outdoors.
Hillel has a wide verity of programs that are offered to help build your network and connect you to the Jewish community. You can join one of our student planning committees or board if you are looking for leadership opportunities, or participate in events planned by our Tzedek (community service) Club, join one of our Sports & Rec teams, attend our monthly Israel Falafel dinner series, drop in for a social program, or become a part of FYSH "First Year Students of Hillel" for more frequent small events geared towards first year students.
Of course! Every Friday night there are appetizers and mingling beginning at 6 pm, services, then a free delicious dinner served! There are no reservations required and no dress code.
Services are student led with a more pluralistic service with a guitar and occasionally a more conservative or orthodox service offered upstairs.
Absolutely! We would love to have you come visit! You are welcome to drop by anytime Monday – Friday 10 am – 5 pm, and feel free to contact us to set up a tour!

Oregon Hillel receives roughly 11% of its funding from the Jewish Federations of Greater Portland and Lane County. The remainder of our annual budget is comprised of grants, co-sponsorships, and private support from alumni, parents, and friends of Oregon Hillel.
