The Oregon Hillel Foundation has served as the center for Jewish life at the University of Oregon since 1993, at Oregon State University since 2014. Over the years Oregon Hillel has evolved from an organization that serves students to an organization that empowers students to create their own identities as Jews and leaders. We envision a world where every Jewish student makes a life-long and enduring commitment to Judaism and Israel in a way that is personally meaningful to them.
Our mission is to be the catalyst for connecting students, building community and inspiring leadership through Jewish values. In implementing our mission, we remain true to our core values: We are student-centric; we are pluralistic; we are caring and welcoming; and we maintain a deep commitment to social justice.
